01.27.04 BTG cat/back duals installed on 01.21.04! I picked them up at
PT Tuning up by LAX and
had them installed Pacific Supreme Muffler on PTT's recommendation. Nice
rumble at idle, nicer still when stepping on the go pedal. Cruisin' down
the freeway you hardly hear them. Nice. All emblems have been stripped -
she's looking very clean! Added a wind deflector to the sunroof as the
buffeting was pretty nasty and I love having the sun roof open. This isn't
called Sunny SoCal for nothing you know! My wish list now includes:
- BTG Strut Tower Brace
- Front & rear sway bars
- Stage 1 Turbo upgrade
- Cold air intake
- Just little bit of exterior bling-bling:
- Billet shorty antenna
- Chrome antenna bezel
- Stainless backup light trim
I should be picking up the last three from
PT Tuning later this
week. The first three.....well, those'll take a bit longer. Here's something I'm thinking about doing to my Cruiser, for a couple of
reasons: 1. It will improve the handling
2. It just plain looks bitchin'!

For me the trick here is whether or not I can make the change
without negatively impacting ride quality. Yep, I want to
improve handling a bit without losing the smooth ride - the ol'
have your cake and eat it too syndrome.
