CEC Wheels Auto Fashion Show
Additional cars delivered to Bali Hai Country Club for detailing prior to the evening's festivities. There were only two of us to do all this work, by hand, in the Las Vegas sun. At least we could move the two black cars to the shade of the semi truck haulers, so that helped. All the vehicles from the CEC Wheels booth at the SEMA Show were later driven to this venue at which time we had to clean all of them up as well. Around 9:00PM that evening the cars were driven one by one onto a stage where Tommy Kendall, multi time TransAm Champion, described each just as if they were models in a fashion show. Crazy stuff.
Not only did I get to detail all of these, but I got to drive them all as well, including the cars from the SEMA Show booth. Well, except for the McLaren. But I did get to drive the Ferrari 599!!!! The Bentley was a mess - fresh from its trans-Atlantic boat ride, it was covered in adhesive residue from protective packaging, loaded with swirl marks, etc. Just a disaster, but we got it together for the show.
